Did you know that your donations to the Modesto-Stanislaus Poetry Center help us increase the amount of poetry in elementary school students’ lives? One of our new efforts to promote poetry in Stanislaus County is Poetry Books for Schools, in which we donate brand-new sets of poetry books to school libraries around the county. Our plan, over time, is to gift poetry books to every one of our schools.
In the past year, we have donated stacks of new poetry books to:

Keyes Elementary (Keyes)
Bret Harte Elementary (Modesto City Schools)
Barrington Elementary (Newman)
Cloverland Elementary (Oakdale)
Las Palmas Elementary (Patterson)
California Avenue Elementary (Riverbank)
Chrysler Elementary (Stanislaus Union)
Richard Moon Elementary (Waterford)
Gratton Elementary (Gratton), &
the Juvenile Hall Library.
