2016-2018 Poet Laureate Application Available
Calling all Modesto poets! The City of Modesto is accepting applications and nominations for the Poet Laureate. This is a non-salaried honorary position for the purpose of presenting original poems at various official functions and occasions. Summer Poetry Workshop: The Beauty of Form with Sal Salerno
Save the date for a workshop on Making a Poem: The Beauty of Form at the Modesto Library with MoSt Board member Sal Salerno. This poetry workshop is designed to instruct poets on the use of rhythm, rhyme, and forms in order to enhance the beauty and durability of their work. Participants should bring five copies of two of their unfinished poems to the workshop.
