Our current U.S. Poet Laureate, Juan Felipe Herrera, is returning to his home state of California and presenting at our very own Carnegie Arts Center in Turlock on Sept. 18! Thanks to the Carnegie and a generous grant from Prime Shine Foundation, MoSt Poetry is thrilled to provide you with this opportunity to meet an active U.S. Poet Laureate. MoSt Poets will do Poetry-on-the-Spot for the Third Thursday Art Walk in downtown Modesto at Preservation Coffee. Poetry on the Spot means: you pick 5 words, we write you a poem!
